LAMPa is seeking applications for a full-time program director in its Harrisburg-area office. The program director is responsible for the coordination and communication of the Lutheran Advocacy Ministry in Pennsylvania (LAMPa) statewide action network, working with the seven synods and Lutheran ministries throughout Pennsylvania, as well as ELCA Churchwide partners, particularly World Hunger. The primary objective is to educate and resource the Lutheran community in Pennsylvania to be a public church as we work to alleviate poverty and hunger. In so doing, the program director will focus on engaging disciples, particularly youth and young adults. The position will connect the advocacy and social justice work of the synods, local congregational leaders and ministries to the LAMPa agenda and to policymakers throughout the Commonwealth, but particularly state government.
