LAMPa will be at the National Youth Gathering! Quentin Bernhard, Hunger Advocacy Fellow, will be with ELCA Advocacy national staff at the Witness in Society booth (F9D) in the Interactive Center. Pennsylvania congregations and youth are encouraged to stop by to learn about how they can use their voices to speak out for justice and care for their neighbors in PA and around the world!
As an added incentive, LAMPa is giving away up to $500 for a week at a Pennsylvania Lutheran camp. Those PA residents who sign up for LAMPa’s communications via the QR code at the booth will be entered in a drawing, drawn on July 23. If a young adult or adult leader wins, they can transfer the prize to a youth of their designation. The $500 must be claimed by end of Summer 2025, with check made directly to the designated Pennsylvania Lutheran camp.
Additional entries to the drawing can be made by following and tagging LAMPa on social media (Facebook and Instagram) @LampaAdvocacy! Pictures at the Witness in Society booth can be tagged with hashtags #CreatedtoBeAdvocates and #GenZeroHunger.
Youth (under 18) will not be added to LAMPa’s general mailing list but will receive communications specifically for youth engagement. Young Adults and Adult Leaders will be added to LAMPa’s general list.
