“Psychological First Aid (PFA): An Overview” will introduce the principles and core actions of PFA and describe ways to apply them in post-disaster scenarios and with different survivor needs. PFA, the practice of recognizing and responding to people experiencing crisis-related stress, can be used to help yourself and others to cope in the face of stressful events.
SUGGESTED PREREQUISITES: “Introduction to Disaster or Just in Time: Disaster Response.”
