Connecting the Dots of Long-Term Recovery
March 14 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Join Lutheran Disaster Response for training and engagement.
“Connecting the Dots” is good for all who are involved in or working with developing a Long- Term Recovery Group (LTRG). Long-term recovery has many different components, terminology, structures, and players. The players may be community groups, faith-based, other non-profit or for-profit organizations, and government partners and programs. The most important factor is the need to have the flexibility, to assist the individuals and families as they navigate the many issues, programs, and decisions they will face as they and the community move to “connect the dots” of recovery.
SUGGESTED PREREQUISITES: “Introduction to Disaster or Just in Time: Disaster Response.”
