We’re delighted to have available for congregational use a curriculum by Dr. Lori Brandt Hale – “Lessons from Dietrich Bonhoeffer in a House Divided and a World on Fire.” The facilitator’s guide, participant workbook, and accompanying slides for each week can be found below.
LAMPa and the International Bonhoeffer Society – English Language Section offer this curriculum as a gift to the Church. While this curriculum is free to use, we suggest a $200 donation to honor the scholarship of Dr. Brandt Hale and the work of the IBS-ELS in helping to craft this curriculum; though any amount your congregation or community can give is welcome and appreciated. Donations for the continued work of LAMPa can be made separately via the button at the top of the website.

Lessons from Dietrich Bonhoeffer in a House Divided and a World on Fire – [Dates, Times, Location]
Join us for [# of] weeks as we explore the life and theology of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, and the lessons we can use as we live at the intersection of faith and civic life today. Bonhoeffer was a Lutheran pastor and theologian living in Nazi Germany, who eventually joined the resistance and was arrested and killed before the end of WWII. This curriculum was compiled by Dr. Lori Brandt Hale, an internationally renowned Bonhoeffer scholar and president of the International Bonhoeffer Society – English Language Section. Lutheran Advocacy Ministry in Pennsylvania is a partner in distributing to congregations to inspire deeper conversation and discernment about how we live as disciples.
